We know we’re biased, but we don’t think you’ll find a more beautiful setting to play pickleball. With soaring mountains, fertile fields and dynamic rivers - the Methow Valley has everything. Including pickleball!
The Methow Valley Pickleball club is an active and diverse group of pickleball players. From beginners to advanced players, our club welcomes all.
In the summer, we play outdoors at the Winthrop Courts. And in winter, you’ll find us at the Cub Gym in the Methow Elementary or the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp.

What Are The Rules? What is the Code of Conduct?
As with all team sports, we expect kindness, good sportsmanship, fair play and most importantly, fun! If you’d like to learn more about the rules for Pickleball, you can find the rules from USA Pickleball here.
What Equipment Do I Need? Can I Use The Club’s Equipment?
It’s easy to get started playing pickleball. At the most basic, you’ll need a paddle, court shoes. Other equipment can include eye protection, hats, sun protection, etc. We have paddles available for use at all court locations.
How Do I Join Methow Valley Pickleball?
It’s easy to join the Methow Valley Pickleball club. Annual fees are $25 per player. You can pay your fees via Venmo @MethowValley-PIckleball or email the club here.
Do I Have to Join to Play?
No. We understand that sometimes it is easier to join on ad hoc basis. Drop in play is $5 per session, payable via Venmo @MethowValley-PIckleball or email the club here.
What Does It Cost To Be a Member?
Annual memberships are $25 per person. Drop in fees are $5 per session.
Do I Need a Rating? How Do I Get One?
Yes, you need a rating. Whether you have one already from another club or you’re looking to be rated, we offer regular rating sessions. In the interim, you can self identify using USA Pickleball’s rating matrix. Come join a session, or email us at methowvalleypickleball@gmail.com and we can help you find your right level for play.
